Wilson Bell
- Writer / Producer-Director Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Wilson has written, produced, and directed for the theater and now with “Joe Willie’s Friend” has produced and directed his very first film. He is excited and proud to be entering it into the film festival circuit. (Please see the NEWS link on the website for festival updates). Wilson is currently working on a feature length screenplay called “Accidents of Life” based on the short film “Joe Willie’s Friend.” He also has two other screenplays in progress. Wilson believes that there is often no greater deficit or asset than one’s faith. Faith to get over every obstacle that presented itself is what made it possible to get “Joe Willie’s Friend” done, and it is what will help WBJRFILMS proceed. A lack of faith or a faith that focuses more on the obstacles than the prize on the other side is what kills dreams. Wilson Bell wants to create films about overcoming, about forgiveness, about faith, about something and he believes that it is possible to do that and entertain. Tiffany Hauck is originally from Washington state, and has been in Los Angeles for just over 10 years. She's been in the entertainment industry for about 8 years working in editing. She's been involved with David E. Kelley productions for 5 seasons now, and has done 4 shows for them, including Ally McBeal and now Boston Legal. Wilson Bell says that he was very fortunate to find her and that she was an invaluable asset and friend to "Joe Willie's Friend." Shannon Christopher Kendall - Co-Director Shannon recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production. He is currently venturing into the festival circuit with three short films entitled "Scratch," "Health Commission" and "Repossessing Kaufman." In addition, he recently Co-Directed the short film, "Joe Willie's Friend." He recently sold a feature script, "In The Blink Of An Eye," which goes into production this February, and he continues to work on several projects that are in different stages of development. Involved in television and film production for over ten years, Shannon has a strong sense of story. He believes in character over flash and he wants nothing more than to tell heartfelt, intellectual, comedy-dramas.
